You will recall that I've talked about whiffle balls being hit against the house as at-home golf practice.
Here's a shot we'd never seen before.
When I took the pic, I was concentrating on getting the ball and the golfer in the frame.
I didn't do the best job of setting the scene. What you can't see here is that the fan was in the half-bath's window; that there was no screen; that there was a 2-3" gap between the side of the fan and the window frame.
I was upstairs; whiffle balls were being hit against the house.
I got a call from downstairs -- "You have to come see this."
While we are not sure what happened, the best guess is that the ball came through the gap between the fan and the window frame, hit the far wall (not very far, but you know what I mean) of the half-bath and bounced back to land as you see it.
Not the most amazing shot ever, though. I think that honor still goes to the time a ball went down the vent stack for the plumbing. That time I was in the basement, and I heard the ball come down the pipe..................
