May 13

Euphorbia. I need to take a pic of this from a distance (like a yard) so you can see what it looks like not up close. From a distance I can see the color, and I have some idea that there is more going on, but I can't begin to see that all this is happening!





Like the color and curve against the color and rigidity of the stone.





Lots of yellow-green on the 13th.

Maple twig, with leaves and seeds.





Last year's seed pods.





These flowers have a honey-sucklish look, but this is a shrub, not a vine.... It was very attractive to honey bees, as you see.





Another shrub. I like the flowers, I like the leaves, I like the way the unopened clusters look sort of starry in the background.... I also like the way some stamens are curved around and some stick right out.........
