May 14, morning

It was the bright red Japanese maple, against the greens, that caught my eye. Then I noticed the lower darker one in the corner.





East on Washington in mid-May. Green, green, green.





Purple and green, spikes and leaves.





With poster-edges.

Horse chestnut. These clusters are big. Quite big. The cluster is about a foot long, I bet.
