Looking pretty much straight up at a linden which was very successful at getting fertilized.





We have looked at this before. I like all the greens in the vine, especially with the purple.....





They call it "Tree Town" for a reason. These are all locusts -- someone did not learn the elm tree lesson. One hopes that, having recently lost alllll the ashes (leaving a lot of holes in the landscape around here!) they will quit planting all of one kind of tree up and down the street.............

I think I may find it necessary to start leaving orange things on that shelf from time to time......





Seems like only last week the milkweed was blooming. These pods were at least 3" long.





This is the big house right by the entrance to West Park. Not sure I am down with this decoration. It seems a bit frou-frou on what is basically a pretty square house. At least it is pretty massive.....





This house apparently will have doors to the outside on all four sides. (I haven't seen the back, but there are doors on the other three sides.....)

Surely hoping they have an open house, and I notice that they are having an open house, so I can see the inside.........
