July 29 was another day which began with rain.
Our poor old maples are really not in very good shape.........

Squash plant in someone's front yard. These are seriously big. Flowers bigger than my hand, and one plant needs serious square footage.

These look like geranium (not pelargonium!). I can't remember if it had flowers what they looked like.

We have gotten a bit more rain than usual, and it's been a bit cooler here than average, but not really by much.
If you took a totally average Michigan summer, it would be gorgeous, and this one has been that.
You all have really suffered from the heat. I surely hope that's over and the rest of the year will be more usual for you!!!!!
