I'm sure I should have gotten a livelier pic of Burt, so you could see that he's still feeling good.

But this is what he was doing when I got the camera to take a pic of me.....





In the "it's always something" category, I seem to have developed a sty.

I read about swollen eyelids last night, and it said that a sty is "exquisitely painful," so I figured that couldn't be what this is.

It feels weird, but doesn't exactly hurt. You'd have to have a pain scale with a lot more granularity than 1-10 for this to register........

I went to Health Service, and saw the nice young doctor who always tells me everything is ok. He took one look at me, took me from the "office" room into the "examining" room with all the doctor goodies, checked that my eye itself isn't red, and told me to put hot compresses on it twice a day, and that it might take a month until it's gone.

So glad he's continuing his practice of telling me all is well, pretty much.
