Yesterday he was shivering by late afternoon when it was three hours or so before his dinner time. I don't think he was shivering as hard as on Saturday. I need to muster the oomph to take his temp............. On top of all the rest of this, doing One More Icky Thing to him seems like Too Much.............
The rimadyl is scored for breaking in half, but not for breaking in quarters. It doesn't break evenly. I gave him the "bigger quarter" last night, and there was no shivering this morning.
He seems pretty good this morning. I broke the second half of the current rimadyl, and gave him the bigger quarter again. (They are 100 mg; he weighs 30 pounds, so a true quarter would be 25 mg where he is allowed to have 30 mg, so I'm going to think giving him the bigger piece is ok unless someone tells me otherwise!)
I'll talk to his vet at some point today.........
