Olympics!

Thinking about the Knitting Olympics as I wrote my blogiversary post, I remembered how much fun it was. I decided that I WOULD knit this year, even if there was no organized event.

Well..............

There is an organized event, and I believe I was #3217 to sign up!

I had thought of socks, but It's Been Done.

What I really want is felted slippers. I have some lovely boughten felted wool slippers, but I would like to have a go-to pattern for felted wool slippers, so I can make them whenever I want.

So -- starting today, with no swatching done, and never having attempted to felt anything which needed to fit, I will begin today, and end up with decently-fitting comfy slippers, and will know how to make another pair any time I want.
