It's interesting -- it seems that the roses in the grocery are almost always the ones with longer (and fewer) petals. The tea roses, I think maybe?

These are more the sort I think of as being cabbage roses (more that flattened-sphere shape I associate with cabbages than the longer, more .. rectangular .. shape I think of as the "usual shape" for grocery roses)......

Chartreuse really does liven up about anything, doesn't it. :-)
