April 22 -- walking to work

.

As there is nowhere to park near my office (some people spend $$$ on University parking permits, but I don't....), I drove home from the dentist, took Wibbs around the block, and headed back out, on foot, for work.

Spiky green stuff.

Posteredged.

Posteredged.

Tree bone shadows.

Daffs.

You knew there was no way we were done with Pink Season.

Admiring the jaggedy leaf margins.

Green above, bud beneath.

Different crop of above.

Lots of stuff going on with the stems, too.....

How fortunate you are to have such lovely things to look at on your walk to work! Great pictures!

I need orange said...

Indeed.

I am very lucky to live in a small enough city that I can walk from my house (in a very suburban-type neighborhood) to downtown and campus to work!

Being able to walk to work (and also having the advantage of being able to take the bus if the weather is awful) -- really wonderful. I am so glad to not need to depend on internal combustion to get me where I need to go.......

And I am very grateful to all the people along my way to work who plant and care for all the flowering goodies I enjoy each day. :-)
