Yet another crab apple.
I think the ones that begin one color and full-bloom in another are my favorites.
This is being an excellent year for flowers. You can see how profuse the bloom on this little tree.

About Me
- I need orange
- Helen Frankenthaler is an artist who does abstract prints. One is called "I Need Yellow." I love contrast, and I love saturated color. When choosing a blog name, I tried "iloveorange" which was taken, and then I remembered Helen and went for ineedorange.

I think I'd have to agree with you. Those are just the deepest pink to start, aren't they? Have a good weekend.
I love contrast. The difference between the dark fuchsia buds and the white flowers makes the combination more interesting for me than if it were all white ... or all fuchsia......
I wish you a good weekend as well.
Mr. Obama is going to speak at commencement tomorrow, so tomorrow will be different from our usual Saturday (we generally venture rather near Michigan stadium, and I think that tomorrow we'd rather avoid blocked roads and traffic).....
