hug a tree

.

This crabapple, with its lovely "HUG ME" sweater, is in Baltimore, where spring is way ahead of Ann Arbor.

I had seen (on the web) images of trees, signposts, etc, enhanced with knitting and/or crochet.

This is the most elaborate instance I have seen. Isn't it cool? Wouldn't you SO hug that tree if you happened by?

Gorgeous tree, gorgeous day..........

I googled baltimore "hug me" tree and found references to this tree:

Very cool. If that were in Ann Arbor, I would definitely visit.

Vicki, I think you should find a splendid Ann Arbor tree and knit it a "Hug Me" sweater. Then you could photograph it for us in all kinds of light and weather.

I'll get right on that.
