May 16 -- walk

.

Poppy.

Large. In-your-face orange. Looking a bit beat up (all that rain, perhaps?).

Peony.

Jane Brocket helped me decide I was fine with candy-striped tulips. I am not sure I am ok with candy-striped peonies. Perhaps if I think of this as a Very Big, Very Double, tulip, it won't make me itchy?

Spider-webby window glass (the round part at the top), with shrub and small tree.

Your walks look so lovely and so tranquil. And so green. It's nice to be able to join you so often! :) Peonies. Another flower that I miss along with hydrangeas. I'll definitely be looking forward to your pictures of hydrangeas! Have a great day.

We are lucky -- our neighborhood is very pleasant.

At least -- it is when all the lawnmowers, edgers, leafblowers, etc., have been put away.....

I'll snap as many peonies and hydrangeas as I find. :-)

Hope your day is a good one, too.
