Speaking of destruction.....................
Someone at work said that they thought part of tearing up West Park was doing something about rainwater containment. The giant tank things that have shown up in the park are evidence of the veracity of that contention.
They are surely taking their sweet time with this. The park has been a shambles for weeks and weeks.
I expect I'm supposed to be grateful that they're not putting in another parking structure here...............

This may be my favorite iris in the whole wide world. At least to look at. I don't think it has as much of that lovely grapey iris smell as I like best.
