Walkin' in the neighborhood.
Daylilies.

I thought this area was an injury to the flower until I looked closer. Look how there is pollen. On the edge of a petal..............
Wondering what parts of the flower actually got turned into the extra petals, when they doubled (or tripled!?) its petals................

I'm not fond of this strong, slanted, late-day light. I try to regard it as a push outside my comfort zone.
Quite liking this one. So vibrant in front; so dark in back............

Like the way the sidewalk looks blue.

And with that strong light from behind, shining through.......

Daisy.

Black-eyed susan.

Correopsis.

Good for you, stepping outside your comfort zone! Sometimes it's fun to pretend you're a different kind of photographer...
That first flower is so curious...the things plants do for sex, right? *shakes head*
hehe. And a perfect daisy shot :)
Thanks, Daisy. :-) I remind myself that I can't possibly like a pic I don't take................ :-)
SO much easier to "just *take* the pic!!!" when it's free to do so, instead of being about 75cents an image the way it was on film......
:-)
For some reason, the first year I had the little camera (the one I carry evvvvvverywhere), I could NOT get a clear pic of the center of a daisy. So every time I get one that shows all those spirals, I am especially pleased......
That's the same daisy in my Psychedelic Daisy pic (posted today, after the "June 25" post.
:-)
