About Me
- I need orange
- Helen Frankenthaler is an artist who does abstract prints. One is called "I Need Yellow." I love contrast, and I love saturated color. When choosing a blog name, I tried "iloveorange" which was taken, and then I remembered Helen and went for ineedorange.

Oh, my. I. want. that. garden. It's GORGEOUS.
It's really gorgeous. And most of it is between the sidewalk and the street!
They've started doing this weird "traffic calming" thing around here, where they make the space between the sidewalk and the street noticeably wider at some corners (to make people not cut corner? or to make sure people don't park too near the corner? not sure....)
Usually I think that's just dumb, but what a happy happenstance that they did it just here, where this woman makes such fabulous use of the extra space!!! :-)
Her garden is a visual gift for everyone who walks (or drives) by.....
