Looking out our hotel window.
Where did we go?
You know.
Lots of apple varieties that were unfamiliar to me.
We got some more of these.
I told the man I wanted four, and he said "four kilos?" Oops. No. Four *apples*. He teased me and told me I should take four kilos as they were very healthy.
I laughed and told him I was, unfortunately, leaving Tours that day, and didn't want to carry four kilos of apples on the train. Though I was sure they were very healthy, and suggested that if I ate a kilo a day, they wouldn't last too long.......
He thought that was a good idea......
Clearly the merch is not all local......
Wouldn't it have been fun to try all the different kinds of grapes?
Look at these flat nectarines. I had never seen anything like them.
I'd like to have tried these Reine Claude plums, too.
On the way back to our hotel to gather up our stuff.
Sewing machine not brought home for any of my sewing buddies. (Who all have machines much fancier than this one, anyway, but know I was thinking about you!)
Devil ducky?
Cute kiddie shoe..
Pinkness. I don't know what this is. Anyone?
Our last Hardouin baguette.
See my daughter's take on our morning shopping here.
Our retro hotel room, with dim bedside lights.
Very Large window. Note fan at left. We didn't need it, but thought its presence indicated there would be electrical outlets.
There was one, in the bathroom.
Not one, in the room itself.
Odd.
