We woke up on the 12th to discover that it had snowed during the night, and was still snowing.
Snowy trees, in the early-morning-blue light.
Across-the-street neighbors' lights, through the snowy branches.
Tulip tree flowers, gone to seed.
You'll recall we went to a swim meet.
This is on the way to the meet.
One of the things I love about winter is the way you can wake up to discover your whole world transformed overnight...........
The meet is over now.
This was taken from inside the new high school, which has woods on both sides.

On our way home, dawdling in the parking lot. This pond is on the south side of the school. As you can see, it was still snowing.
