When we were in Alaska, I realized that the reason you can see the sky so well is that there are no big trees.

I love our trees, but they do get between us and the sunrise.....

When we got to Alaska, I kept thinking "There's SO much sky, here!"

It took me a couple of days to realize that the reason there was so much sky was that the buildings in Fairbanks are not very high, and neither are the trees......
