May 20

.

It is a wet May, to follow our third-wettest-ever April. It's raining almost every day. We're not having deluges, but we have had lots of gray days.

A bit of blue sky, on the 20th.

Mystery plant. Not sure if this flower will open more than this, or not. (Ed. note: I looked at it on the 24th, and it still looked pretty much like this.)

I saw that same plant at the botanic garden at James Madison University in Virginia! I noted the name, but deleted it. :( Sorry.

It's very unique and quite pretty though, don't you think?

We've been having buckets of rain too. Today the skies are blue and the temperatures are warm. Such a treat! The cats and I are soaking it up and feeling exceedingly blessed.

Very interesting and unique plant; totally agree. :-)

We now have the wettest spring on record, with more rain predicted today.

I rode the bus home from work, on Wednesday, because of the thunder, and it was pouring. The bus kicked up water as high as its windows......

Very wet indeed.

I am glad that we live at the top of the hill!
