I picked up this leaf, in front of my office building, because I liked the color.
Not sure why the light on my windowsill is so very blue......
This is more like the actual color. Shot closer to lunchtime, on my desk.
I like the jaggedy edges of the leaf, as well as the color.....

Looks almost like fall. We've had 110 temps for two days. Supposed to cool down to ... 108 today.

Fall's making itself known, that's for sure.
Some kinds of trees drop leaves, when it's hot and dry. Sycamores do it, as do lindens.
We've had fallen leaves since July.
But it feels different, now.
I don't think it's just the cooler temps.........
Surely hoping for all y'all that you get some more reasonable temps VERY SOON!
ps -- I took more pics at the farmers' market on Saturday than I've taken since I went to Detroit several weeks ago.....
