The (University of Michigan football) Game was at 8:00 pm.
We were out running errands at noon-ish.
We were flabbergasted that the traffic was awful. At noon. For an 8:00 pm game.
This is the (enormous) front lawn of the high school (which is kitty-corner from the stadium). CRAMMED with tail-gaters.
So, SO, *SO* glad that it will never again be me, helping clean up after all the (total) slobs who pitch garbage everywhere, instead of walking 10 steps to the nearest garbage can. !!!!
I wonder how many swimming pools could be filled by the beer consumed.
I wonder how much good could be done, if all of this time were spent volunteering, instead of drunkenly roaring, and trashing the environment.
Ah well. They could be doing worse things, I'm sure.
