Oxymoron, at the megamart.
We've looked at a Japanese anemone elsewhere in the neighborhood. This one is much darker, and double (or triple or more....).
I didn't see, until it was on "the big screen" that the center has the same sort of spiraly pattern as sunflower seeds have. (Love being able to look at this teeny stuff!)
Bud. See the hint of yellow inside? I also like the next buds, getting ready, at the axils.

Walking on. Shadows on the sidewalk.
Datura. Love looking at these. They are so ... large ... with such excellent things going on.
Spotted this little one motoring across the sidewalk.
Love Wikipedia!!! I had no idea what this wooly bear caterpillar would turn into. I learned they overwinter as caterpillars! Who knew. I did not know any moths or butterflies overwinter as caterpillars! Totally love being able to look up stuff, whenever I want, from the comfort and privacy of my own study!!!!!!
Excellent things to take home, available all over the place....
