On the 3rd, I had a dentist appt. I got dropped at the dentist, and then took a bus back into the center of town.
I'd never taken a bus from there, before, and wasn't sure where the stop closest to the dentist was.
It was a GORGEOUS day. 70s, sunny, blue......
Crab apples.
I found a bus stop. It was so nice out that, had I had a smart phone, I'd have checked to see exactly where the bus was, to see if I had time to walk on another couple of stops.
But I didn't, so I waited at the first stop I found.
There were cattails between the road and some dwellings, with this extremely red little maple.
The bench at the stop was made from this excellent perforated metal. I like to use things like this when stenciling; I wonder if I'll be able to figure out how to use them when doing digital collage......
Looking up Packard toward downtown. Beautiful sky, and repeating street lights.
In my office, looking at that sky, and at the color, changing, on the hill.
Later. Almost home.
Datura.
This is what remains, when that big flower falls off. Blurry, alas. I'll have to try again....
And here's what that turns into. These plants have so many excellent things to examine....
They are huge, though, and are aggressive self-seeders. I don't want them in my yard.....
My daily souvenirs.
