November 15

.

Embellishing the parking lot across 5th Ave from the library -- rose.

I saw the drops when I took the pic, but not the bubbles. Pleased to find them, when looking at it "on the big screen."

The demolition on the east side of 5th Ave.

Still perched on the rubble.

Garden, across 5th from the demolition.

Gingko leaf on the sidewalk in front of my office building.

Backlit maple leaf, on my desk.

Not much color left, on the hill-that-is-the-horizon.

The tree on the left is the one I could see, if I leaned way in to the window, and turned all the way left, in my previous office.  I can't see it from my desk, in this office.  It's behind that other wing of the building on the left in this pic.  But if I stand next to the west wall in this office, I can see it.

Loved all of the droplet shots - and the backlit maple leaf!

Thanks! I was so pleased when I saw the bubbles in the drops in that rose....

I did ceramics, back in the 70s. Opening the kiln was always a surprise. You knew what you'd intended, generally, but you were never sure what you'd get.

I think taking pics is the same way. I have an idea what I think I will get. Sometimes it's a bust, but sometimes I find lovely surprises, just like opening the kiln.....
