Strawberries. This is the patch which had those bright red leaves last fall.
The first of the herbaceous peonies are blooming.

When I looked at the peony photos all I could think was "Wedding" -- probably first time around.
Peonies are my very favorite. It looks like they will be extra nice this year. [happy sigh]
