One of my neighbors apparently has vegetables growing beside the house.
Here's something adventurous, heading for the front yard. You can't tell from the pic, but the vine is a good yard off the ground.
I never thought of growing vegetable vines in/on shrubs or small trees.....
I wonder if this is a pumpkin.... If it is, I wonder what will happen if it gets big.........
I keep forgetting to have a look and see what this looks like now, a week or so after I took the pic......

We have pumpkins growing up our bamboo!
:-) On purpose? Is it big enough bamboo that it can support big pumpkins? Can the vines support big pumpkins off the ground?

I have grown pumpkins before. They were small ones, and were on the ground. I have no experience with big pumpkins, nor with growing them above ground level, so I am curious!
