On the 26th we got more snow than we've seen in a long time. Willard walked behind me, in my tracks, for much of the way around the block.
When he and I got home, I shoveled out the driveway and the sidewalk in front of the house. The snow was light and easy to push, just needing to be lifted when the shovel got full.
It was snowing pretty hard when I shoveled -- by the time I was done, there was more than half an inch at the top of the driveway where I began. It was blowing, too, which made it hard to know how much had fallen.

Our daughter shoveled before she left for work the morning of the 27th.
The sun came out. Hooray for sunshine!
