The 13th was a cold, gray, unphotogenic day.
I saw a melanistic squirrel. It ran across 7th St. as we were driving home from the grocery. I think it was a fox squirrel. That makes two of them I've seen in Ann Arbor(the other, about a year ago, was very near the intersection of Packard and Stone School Rd., which is miles from the place I saw this one).
I just read an article about wildflowers blooming earlier and earlier -- another sign of global warming.
I do wonder if melanistic fox squirrels (which I read, last year, were more common in the south), moving north, are another sign............
