Using up eggs and milk. Sugar and flour provided by our landlord.
Crepes! With strawberries! Mmmmm.
I knew Paris had free bikes to borrow, but didn't realize that Bologna did, as well.
Google translates this "got to do a bike."
This is the sign on the bike rack. Uso gratuito translates as "free use."
Key, embedded in pavement. I can see a hand, reaching toward the key, in that black blob.....
A very nice day.
I like the contrast between the outside and the inside.
No motorized traffic on the main streets, downtown, on the 7th.
Zoomed in, from the same place as the above.
Street performer.
The main theme of the part of his routine we saw was "how to get up on the unicycle." These guys from the crowd are to help him.
"Oops" -- landed on one of the guys, instead of on the unicycle...... Note performer's dog, bottom right. Her part is to bark, when he's up....
After many "failed" attempts, he is up.
She's doing her part.
And is duly rewarded.
It occurred to me, at some point while we were watching the performer, that the situation was ripe for pickpockets. Everyone's attention on the performer...... I mentioned it to my daughter, who was already all over that. I could imagine such performers working hand in glove with pickpockets........... Let's hope that's not what was happening, and that everyone walked away from the entertainment with everything they brought there (aside from the coins tossed to the performer when he was done).
We stepped into an open church. This one is different from the big brick ones we've been looking at. LIghter, fancier.....
