Approaching the Piazza Maggiore.
The sky!
That's Neptune, with his back to us, at the bottom.
This is San Petronio, patron saint of Bologna.
Note big piece of rock, held up with a few straps. I hope that never falls on someone.....
On the Piazza. Two little dogs and a big one (all that black in the upper left corner is a big dog.
And a small and very bundled-up person. It was 60 (F) that day.
Palazzo D'Accursio again.
Walking on. Striking poster.
The same colors, used differently. (Not that I noticed the color similarities, until I saw these side-by-side on "the big screen".....)
Yet another church waiting for a fancy facade.
I wonder if this is in use s a church. I've never seen trees in pots outside the door of a church.
Well, now. It looks like Batman greened up and traded that gas guzzler for a Smart Car.
Love the colors, and love the pavement.
Here's a good look at a covered walkway in an area that appears to be more residential than commercial.
Ah. Our destination.
A "day for artisanal gelato" is a day I can get behind!
This was nocciola -- hazelnut -- and it was absolutely delicious. I've had hazelnut gelato before, and have enjoyed it, but this was the best I've ever had. Mmmmmmmm.

More than a little dazzled. Love the shoes!
And the gelato. :-)
I'd rather have the gelato than the shoes. :-)
I'm glad you are enjoying Italy with me!
