His mouth seems to be more comfortable (he's not acting like it bothers him nearly as much), but the swelling is the same as yesterday morning. It's my impression that it could be a while before the swelling goes down. I'm to give a progress report next Monday, and I will ask when I should see some change in the swelling, if I can't see any by then.
His demeanor continues to be upbeat and business-as-usual.

I'm glad that he seems more comfortable today, and that the doc seemed to think this was not that big a deal.
I feel lucky that his abscessed tooth was so clear and visible. I know people who have had them, and have only been diagnosed after weeks of not feeling good.
I also feel lucky that he doesn't seem to feel bad. His mood is good and his energy seems normal.
