I often see crows, in the late afternoon, as they begin to gather for the night. They are purposeful -- many groups, all heading in one direction. (How do they know which way to go? It varies from night to night.....)
On the 30th, this group was wheeling around in the sky. Round and round, through just a bit more sky than you see here. Not heading anywhere. They were quiet, too (the crows bound for the nighttime rendezvous call, steadily). I wonder what they were doing..........
Maple.
Sniffing......................

Oh, my -- what a day today -- I didn't think the rain would ever stop. And really, it didn't -- just went from full-out rain to drizzle! But I'm so happy I can still see colorful leaves this late in the season!
Thanks for such nice comments on the Gypsy. Got the show loaded in and now I'm taking a creative break! Well, till art class Saturday!
At least it wasn't too cold........
I, too, am grateful for any color I can get, knowing everything is going to be all brown/gray for a long time, all too soon......................
What art class??? :-)
