Sue Nickels and Pat Holly made a totally excellent Beatles quilt. I was lucky enough to see it in person before it was Best of Show in 1998 at the huge quilt show in Paducah, and before it was part of the Museum of the American Quilters Society's collection.
I found the quilt's jigsaw puzzle.
(I know Sue, to say "hi" to, from the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild, and Pat was in my yoga class for several terms. So you are one degree away from famous wonderful art quilters, and one degree away from touching, up close and personal, a fabulous prize-winning quilt!)
It was 50 years ago that the Beatles took American popular music by storm.
I'm signed up for a Beatles class at Coursera, starting in March.....

The Beatles class sounds great! Can't wait to hear more!
It's the same guy who taught The History of Rock. While the History was really quite interesting, I had really been hoping for more about the Rock and less about the History.....
We'll see -- this one says it's about the Music of the Beatles (rather than the History of the Beatles). :-)
I'm sure it will be interesting to listen to, but whether I'll think it's interesting enough to try to learn the material (rather than just listening!), I don't know.
I've got my fingers crossed!
