jigsaw puzzles

I happened across an online jigsaw puzzle site, and have solved many puzzles over the last several days.  I suspect a lot of the images on the puzzles were stolen.  I wish I could show you a pic or two of the puzzles I've done, but the images don't belong to me, so I won't.

I believe I have tracked down the cake on the puzzle at the link above to the person who originally made the cake and took the pic.  I'll send you to look at it on her page, as copying it would be wrong.  She calls it Rough Edges Rainbow Cake -- I call it "death by food coloring".......

But in the dead of winter, all this color is ... good.  To look at, anyway. 

The idea of eating it makes me a bit queasy.

Anyway. 

I've been having fun, doing jigsaw puzzles. 

I've learned that landscapes, as much as I like looking at them once they're done, are less fun than puzzles with images like this cake.  The puzzle pieces are so small, on the screen, and when the pieces are busy, it's harder to see them (the top of this image harder than the layers of cake/frosting..........).
