Adventures in Yarn Farming

.

Yesterday, when we were having thundersnow, I turned off and unplugged the computers, and I read this book.

Some people have fantasy football teams.  I have a fantasy farm. Reading a book like this one reminds me why my farm is a fantasy.

While I would love some aspects of doing what she does, I would not enjoy others......

So grateful to people with the courage to thoughtfully and lovingly raise animals (and wool), and also grateful to those people for sharing their lives with the rest of us! Mostly all good (just a few terrible moments).

I recommend this book to anyone who has a fantasy farm of her own.....

have you ever been to Stonehedge Farm and Fiber Mill near East Jordan? A charming farm -- where they mill their own fabulous wool! Looks like a very good book!

I haven't. It sounds like a good place to visit!

I was a member of the local spinning guild for many years. I have visited farms, and I've visited wool mills, but not all in the same place. :-)
