May 31

.

Tadpoles in the pond at West Park.

Swarms of tadpoles.  Thousands and thousands of them.

There's a rental car place very near the east end of West Park.  You may remember that one of our cars had an unfortunately unavoidable encounter with a large piece of tire on the highway, and needed bodywork.  People still need to get to work, even when their cars are in the shop.  We picked up the rental car on the 31st.  Here's a look at a corner of their waiting area.....

Saturday errands.  Orange at the grocery.

My hat is off to whoever designs these cute little bouquets.  Much more imaginative than most grocery-store bouquets.

Walking in the neighborhood.  Cluster of raspberry flowers.  With ant.

And without ant.

Spiderwebs in the late-afternoon sun.

Closer.

Incipient poppies.

Iris.

Japanese maple leaves.

Iris.

Peony.

Rose.

Here's someone who really likes yellow.  Yellow mini, by yellow house.  With cute little light and picket fence.

Poppies and (true) geraniums.
