The 31st was truck day. My daughter rented a BIG van. The first thing we did was go to IKEA to buy a couch (and bring home the BIG -- and heavy -- box it came in).
I was hoping you could tell from this pic how high we were sitting, but I don't think you can. We were sitting about three times higher than in our car, I think........... Isn't it lovely that one can rent a big vehicle for moving stuff?
Sky over the rental lot as the van was returned at the end of the day.
I'm older than I used to be. Two days of painting, followed by a day of schlepping, wore me out.

Catching up and backwards! Soon I'll find out what's happening! Good idea on renting the van. I need an IKEA trip for furniture but the transport thing was the issue.
They wanted to know how far we would drive the van as she was organizing the rental (she paid for mileage).
She said "I don't know -- how far is it to IKEA?" :-)
That clearly was not the first time the guy had heard the question. But he didn't actually know how far it was....
