We had strawberry shortcake for Fathers' Day lunch.
A whole meal of strawberry shortcake, at least once in a strawberry season, was a tradition in my mom's family when she was growing up. She brought that tradition forward when she had her own kids, and I brought it forward another generation. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................
