Neither of these videos has sound.........
They have used Hubble images to give us an idea what it would be like to fly around Orion.
The one above is more low-tech, but easier for me to follow where Orion's stars are. I think it's interesting that his "shoulders" are so much closer to us than the rest, and that the star in the middle of his belt is so much more distant.
The next one is much more artistic and beautiful, but I found it harder to follow.
Also made from Hubble images -- now we can fly through Orion. Wow.
The first video is part of my new class: In the Night Sky: Orion. The second I found on the Hubble site as I looked for the first.....
