We are now in the other room which has no barriers between us and the birds. I mentioned that it was still difficult to get a clear shot. Sometimes the camera "helpfully" focuses on a twig between us and the birds, rather than on the birds............
Sometimes I just can't hold still enough. (Note yellow feet to match its breast.)
Sometimes the camera really really really wants to focus on the nice sharp lines of the netting behind the bird.
This is about as good as I could do. This room was full of bunches of different kinds of finches, and little parrot-looking guys.
They announced the zoo was closing. We left the bird house, and headed for the nearby bridge over Anthony Wayne Trail.
Looking west from the stairs up to the bridge.
The eagles are within the curve of the ramp down from the bridge. The phone took these two pics. (The camera's efforts were overexposed.)
The empty-of-visitors zoo meant we were able to park really close to the entrance..... That's our little blue car, bottom center.
The sky to the east was cool, as we drove home over the flat northern Ohio landscape.
