On January 26 we walked along the Huron River, behind the University Health System's Kellogg Eye Center. The sky.............
Admiring the sky............
Chilly river. There's a dog park across the river, with sections for large dogs and small dogs. There were a bunch of large dogs enjoying being able to run around, as we walked by.
Part of the river separates from the main river, and goes through a man-made kayak run.
Study in gold. Railroad bridge, and nice curly grass.
A closer look at the grass.
There's a dam across the main river, which is still generating some electricity. The water was boiling through there on January 26.
Zooming in on the upper right quadrant of the above. I think most of the buildings are part of the hospital complex.
That sky!
You can walk across the dam and continue walking on the other side of the river. We turned back and continued along the "farther from downtown" bank.
I knew the city rents out canoes in warm weather. I hadn't known they also have kayaks.
On our way back to the car. Railroad bridge in the lower right.
That is a nice place to walk. I expect we'll go back.
