Maple Leaf in Laundry Basket.
Our laundry lines are under maple trees. It's good to
have the clothes shaded (the sun is hard on fabric), but a lot
of junk gets dropped in the basket. I always dump it out before I
start folding the clean clothes and depositing them there. But
sometimes something sneaks into the house. I discovered this leaf in
the bottom of the basket after I removed the last of the clothes.
One of our blue-shouldered tomatoes.
It has a star on it. I didn't see how sparkley the star was, until I got this image on "the big screen."
In case you wondered if I am still in the business of helping homeless corgis, I am. This cutie is one of the ones we are helping right now.
We did not grow these, but we get to eat them. Farmers' market produce. Shop local. Eat local. Support our neighbors. (Especially those whose hard and chancy work feeds us.)
