More for Ammar.
Ammar disappeared off the list of campaigns at PostcardsToVoters.
More for Stacey.
Meanwhile, life continues to require the washing of dishes.
The End of an Era.
We use a water-soluble marker to put a “dirty”
mark on the inside of the dishwasher door. Running the dishwasher washes
off the mark; if there’s a mark, the dishwasher's contents are dirty.
The purple marker was old
when we started using it for this purpose. Like maybe around 15 years
old? Maybe more? For years we’ve thought it was on its last legs, but a
little water would wake it up.
It finally became unresponsive to the
addition of water. I said a few words of appreciation for its years (and
years) of service, and pitched it. The (purple) marker is dead. Long
live the (red) marker.
Walking. Maples.
Quince.
My daughter’s high school swim team joined trios of girls as
“sisters” for the swim season. "Sisters" baked goodiss for each other, and exchanged little gifts.
It’s been a long time since I always had my eyes
peeled for random purple stuff. But sometimes I still notice something I
might have acquired back in the day..... 💜💜💜
