The bad news is that his gastrointestinal upsets continue.
The good news is he feels pretty good and is eager to eat whatever they offer. ("He is a model patient. He leaves his IV alone, he's not shaking and drooling. He's alert and eager to eat. He trots happily outside to eliminate.")
The (I think/hope) really good news is that when I took him in yesterday, his white count was 200000, and the second one they did, at midnight this morning, was 100000. For background, before his first chemo last week, it was nearly 600000, and it was 250000 on Tuesday before his second Vincristine..... For even deeper background, for a dog it's supposed to be between 6000 and 17000...........
So perhaps this gut reaction is to the chemo working..........
My vet was ok with him coming home, but I am loathe to bring him home while he is still spewing from both ends. I'll be happier when that seems to be under control.....
So the plan is that I call at 6:00 and see how he's doing.

This time when it's not clear how good he *can* feel is the worst -- I won't torture him if he's just going to feel crummy, but how can I know? :-(
So hard, to want to do the Right Thing, but not have the information necessary to do that....
