dogboyz

.

Wilbur was getting a belly rub moments before I took this.

Wilbur loves the sunshine.

Note serious case of tuftification.

When his undercoat comes out like this, it is excellent for picking. You can get a big handful of tufts in no time at all.

We are trying to leave it alone, as our daughter will be home soon, and she likes to pick it, too. The sacrifices required of parents..................

I picked up this dog bed at the pet store a few weeks ago. Buzz loves it. It was only $20, and the brand is Yap. The bottom and the sides are two separate pieces.

You can see his hinders sort of trailing out the back, forgotten. Or maybe just too much trouble to move. He is getting worse and worse, unreliable-rear-wise, but still can get around well once he is up on his pins. He is also getting scared to come down the flight of stairs (even though it is carpeted). I have seen him fall, near the bottom. If he would do it step by step he'd be ok, but he starts going faster (on purpose, I am pretty sure, as he has always done it that way) about half way down, and now he loses control................

Sigh. Seems to me that having cancer and iffy kidneys should be enough, but no, we are also dealing with worse and worse mobility.

Lots of scritches for the boys...

Pearl got a new dog bed too, I'm sure she'll pick this one to have puppies in too! She looks like a squirrel all curled up in it.

The boyz say 'tanks for skritchs! got cookeez?'

This bed would be bad for puppies -- I'm sure they could get lost around the edges and maybe even under the bottom cushion.

He likes putting his chin on the raised edge, and it has enough cushion on the bottom that it doesn't go flat when he's in it.

I may go back and get one for upstairs, too.
