On Wednesday afternoon a charming and helpful colleague of my better half's came with his helpful and charming pickup truck. The two (or three) of them removed the couch (to the landfill, alas), and the stereo cabinet and tv and speakers to the basement.
I'll bet you anything that some of that hair was under the couch long enough that it belongs to Spot and Molly (first dogs) as well as Sophie, Buzz, and Wilbur........
That couch was the first nice piece of furniture we bought, and I am sad that it is trash. Ah well.
I am mildly amused by the rocker looking like it is in time-out..........
Today we got a second estimate on having the floor refinished.
