Daylily.
I don't usually like spent daylily flowers, but look at these....
This is the lawn-extension garden we've been admiring.  Most of the rest of the flowers in this post are in this garden.  I recognize some of them, but lots are new to me.
Gaillardia.
Not sure about this one.   It's more double and was larger than I think of coreopsis being....
Definitely do not know this one.
Love what the greenery is doing, behind the flowers!
Another new-to-me plant.  It was all fuzzy buds, with just a few of these downward-facing purply-blue flowers.
Poppies.
Goodness.  I think this is a primrose, but ... a totally pastel flower, with alllll that color in the foliage?
A different plant, I think, with clusters of small lavender flowers.
Spent alium.  Dramatic!
Walking on.  This is in another yard, on another block.  A hollyhock relative.  I think it is a mallow.
My daughter and I got cherries at the farmers' market.  Sweet ones, and sour ones.  This is what she did with the sour ones.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
