Google emulates Microsoft

.

So -- ever since we got the newest version of Blogger, the parts that let one create and manage posts have been different.

And afu.

At least, the picture-uploading parts have been afu.  Not *quite* ALL, but have been seriously flawed.  Sometimes one has to try over and over to get pics which have apparently uploaded to actually stick to a post.  Videos?  Ha.  It is to laugh.  They take forever to ... not upload.

We've had a way to send screenshots and comments about Blogger issues to Google, but that hasn't led to any noticeable improvement.

Yesterday they began showing this warning:  "Your browser is no longer supported by Blogger. Some parts of Blogger will not work and you may experience problems.
If you are having problems, try Google Chrome."

Blogger doesn't support Firefox??????????????????????????????????????

Srsly?

Sounds like the Evil Empire to me...........................

I mean, I know I am getting Blogger for free, so their slowness in addressing the issues is not a surprise, but for them to decline to support anything but Chrome?  Really?

Like I said -- sounds like the Evil Empire to me.

Google, I thought you were better than this.  I am disappointed.

My blog is on WordPress (also free), but my blogroll is on Blogger. It has become impossible to update by adding or deleting blogs, and it often "sticks" -- doesn't update for 24 hours. I also use Firefox.

I haven't tried to change much in my blogroll since the new management came in, but I *think* I have and it has worked.....

I don't know anything bad about chrome, but I really hate being coerced into doing anything.........

Sigh.
