November 11

.

It doesn't often happen that we can see a jet trail from one edge of the sky to another. It always surprises me when it's reasonably windy at ground level, but apparently quite still aloft (so the jet trails aren't blown apart).......

You can see a parking lot light at the beginning (bottom right), and trees at the other end.  I warn you -- I flip the camera 180 degrees in the middle....

Interesting skies, south of the library.

This is the same colorful sidewalk we saw behind a nicely-shaped maple leaf last week.

The first image is exactly as the camera remembers.

This one has had the saturation zipped up a bit.  Who knew all of this was underfoot?

It was a blustry day..........  (Bradford pear tree.)

There is still a bit of orange in the landscape.

More interesting clouds.

More orange.  Always nice with chartreuse.

He's much more lively in colder weather.  Still out in front, in the last quarter of his walk.

I'm making a point of visiting the sweet gum, almost every day.

I'm not sure who this is, growing right next to a big old maple.
